Our story

A college built around one question: what do our students actually need to get hired?

GIMAT — Global Institute of Management And Technology — was founded in Dighi Kalan, East Hajipur, with a simple premise: management and technology education in Bihar should be judged by outcomes, not just certificates. That premise still shapes every decision we make, from how classes are structured to which companies we invite to campus.

Today GIMAT runs undergraduate programmes in Business Administration and Computer Applications, built around small batches, hands-on project work, and faculty who stay reachable well beyond lecture hours. Every course is designed backward from the jobs our graduates go on to do.

Founding

GIMAT opens its doors in Dighi Kalan

The institute begins with a founding batch of BBA students and a commitment to keep class sizes small enough that no student goes unnoticed.

Expansion

BCA programme launches

Rising demand for computing skills leads GIMAT to introduce its Computer Applications programme, built with input from local IT employers.

Growth

Dedicated placement cell established

A standalone placement team is formed to run structured training, mock interviews, and year-round recruiter outreach for every graduating batch.
